Seeking a Serial Bank Robber in South Jersey
The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject who is responsible for at least four bank robberies in South Jersey, including the robberies of the St. Edmonds Bank in Deptford on Saturday, 4/25/09, the Sun National Bank in Glendora on Tuesday, 5/5/09 at approximately 12:52 p.m., the TD Bank in Glassboro on Monday, 5/11/09, and most recently the TD Bank in Woodbury yesterday (Wednesday, 5/13/09) at approximately 4:43 p.m.
The subject is described as black male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5'10" to 6' tall, medium build, with a short mustache and beard or unshaven. In all three robberies, the subject presented threatening demand notes to a teller, and fled with undisclosed amounts of cash. In the robberies of the Sun National Bank on 5/5/09 and the TD Bank on 5/11/09, the subject wore what appears to be the same black baseball cap with a cream or light-colored brim and script “P” logo on the front, and carried a black zippered folder. In yesterday’s robbery in Woodbury, the subject was not wearing a cap but was wearing sunglasses. He was carrying what appears to be the same black zippered folder.
Several pictures from the robberies on 5/5/09 and 5/11/09 were sent out in an advisory on Monday, 5/11/09, and are also included below, along with two pictures from yesterday’s robbery in Woodbury.
This subject should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in either Philadelphia at 215-418-4000 or in Cherry Hill at 856-795-9556, or their local police department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
