Wachovia Bank Robbery
The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Wachovia Bank branch located at 1247 East Hunting Park Avenue in Philadelphia earlier today.
At approximately 11:08 a.m. today, an unknown female entered the bank branch, approached the teller counter, and presented a threatening demand note indicating that she had a gun. The subject is described as a black female, early to mid 30's, 5'6" to 5'7" tall, 200 pounds, heavy build, wearing a large light-colored or tan knit hat with a brim, large eyeglasses, and a blue or dark-colored windbreaker style jacket with a zippered front. She was also carrying a large brown-patterned zippered purse, with a lighter colored bottom and handles.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
