Public's Assistance on Bank Robberies in Philadelphia
The
Philadelphia Division of the FBI and the Philadelphia
Police Department are seeking the public's assistance
to identify and locate the individual believed to
be responsible for at least four bank robberies in
Philadelphia since December 3, 2008, nicknamed the
"Northeast Hood Bandit."
The unknown subject is believed to be responsible
for the following bank robberies:
1. 12/3/2008, at 3:06 PM: TD Bank, 2520 Grant Avenue
2. 12/5/2008, at 4:41 PM: Citizens Bank, 2014 Cottman
Avenue
3. 12/12/2008, at 2:36 PM: Citizens Bank, 2910 Cottman
Avenue
4. 12/28/2008, at 11:45 AM: Citizens Bank, 9218 Cottman
Avenue
The subject is described as a white male, in his 20's,
5'6" to 5'10" tall, with a thin to medium
build, usually clean or recently shaven. In all of
the robberies the subject wore some type of hooded
sweatshirt, usually with writing on the front, with
the hood down, a dark-colored knit cap and black gloves.
In all four of the robberies the subject presented
a threatening demand note to a teller.

Citizens Bank branch at 9218 Cottman Avenue on 12/28/2008,
are below.
The subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
