Seeking
Public Assistance in Identifying
Citizens Bank Robber
The FBI and
the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the
public's assistance to identify and locate the individual
alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Citizens
Bank branch located at 2910 Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia
today at approximately 2:35 p.m.
The
subject, described as a white male in his mid 20's,
5'8" tall, medium build, wearing a black
hooded sweatshirt with the word "Gap" on
the front, blue jeans and black gloves, entered the
bank and presented a threatening demand note to a teller.
The robber fled in an unknown direction after obtaining
an undisclosed amount of cash. It is possible that
the robber has red dye on his skin and/or clothing.
Two pictures from the bank's surveillance camera are below, along with pictures from previous robberies that may have been committed by the same individual. It is believed that this same
individual may be responsible for the 12/3/08 robbery
of the Citizens Bank branch located at 2014 Cottman
Avenue, and the 12/5/08 robbery of the TD Banknorth
branch at 2520 Grant Avenue.
This
subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
