Seeking Public Assistance in Locating Daniel P. Magee
The FBI in Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Police Department are currently attempting to locate and apprehend Daniel P. Magee, who has been charged in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in connection with the robberies of the PNC Bank branch located at 1801 Market Street, Philadelphia, on 11/3/2008, and the PNC Bank branch located at 1600 Market Street, Philadelphia, on 10/17/2008. Magee is described as a white male, 31 years of age, 5'11", 175 pounds, with a tattoo of a shamrock on his left upper arm and a tattoo of a Celtic cross on his right upper arm.
It is believed that Magee is also responsible for the robbery of the Wachovia Bank branch located at 1700 Market Street in Philadelphia at approximately 1:13 p.m. today. During this robbery he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and faded blue jeans. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash he fled south on 17th Street toward Chestnut Street.
Three surveillance photographs from today's robbery are below, along with a front facial photograph of Magee. Magee should be considered armed and dangerous, and he should not be approached if seen. He is suspected in several other robberies of businesses in the Center City Philadelphia area.
