Beneficial Savings Bank Robbed
The FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to identify the individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Beneficial Savings Bank located at 2073 S. Broad Street, on Monday, November 3, 2008 at approximately 12:08 p.m.
The subject is described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 30s, approximately 5'8", medium build and scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a blue jacket, a green ball cap, black shoes and glasses.
The robber entered the bank, approached the teller counter and presented a demand note that indicated he had a gun. A gun was not displayed during this robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank in an unknwon direction. A dye pack was given out which may have left behind red stains on the robber's clothing or hands. There were no injuries.
