Citizens Bank Robbed
The FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to identify two individuals alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Citizens Bank located at 2014 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, on Monday, October 20, 2008 at approximately 1:35 p.m.
Subject # 1 is described as a black male, between 35-40 years old, approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall, with a medium build, a dark complexion and a full beard. Upon entering the bank, he covered his face with a green scarf.
Subject #2 is described as an older black male in his 50's, approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall, with a medium to heavy build. He was clean shaven with a medium brown complexion and possibly graying hair.
The robbers entered the bank, approached the teller counter and may have displayed a handgun while announcing that the bank was being robbed. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash they fled the bank. A dye pack was recovered near the bank. The robbers hands and clothes may be stained with red dye. There were no injuries.
