Robbery of Wachovia Bank
The
FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to
identify the individual alleged to be responsible
for the robbery of the Wachovia Bank located at
3400 Aramingo Avenue, Philadelphia,
PA, on Monday, September 29, 2008 at approximately
2:50 p.m.
The subject is described as a white male, between
60 to 65 years old, approximately 5'3" to 5'5" tall, with a thin build. His hair was balding on
top and gray on the sides and back. He was wearing a dark
colored and white striped long sleeved polo shirt and dark pants. The
subject's clothes may be stained with red dye.
The robber entered the bank, approached the teller counter and presented a
threatening demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash,
he fled the bank in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
