Robbery of Citizens Bank
The FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to identify the individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Citizens Bank located at 7327 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA on Friday August 29, 2008.
The subject is described as a white male, in his late 30's to early 40's, approximately 5'8" to 5'9", with a thin to medium build and scruffy salt and pepper facial hair. He was wearing prescription eye glasses and he may walk with a limp.
He was in the company of an unidentified female who is considered to be a person of interest in this robbery. She is described as a white female, approximately 40 to 50 years of age, 5'1" to 5'4", with a thin build and blond or strawberry blond hair.
The male is suspected of also being responsible for the robbery of the Polonia Bank located at 2646 E. Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, on 08/25/2008. During both robberies, the robber entered the bank, approached the teller counter and presented a demand note which implied he had a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank. There were no injuries.
