Robbery of the Third Federal Bank
The FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to identify the individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Third Federal Bank located at 4625 Frankford Avenue, on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at approximately 3:00 p.m.
The subject is described as a Black male with a light complexion or a Hispanic male, in his mid 30's, approximately 5'8" to 5'9", and a husky build but not overweight. He had dark eyes, very short black hair and a goatee with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a bright blue oversized t-shirt, black shorts and sunglasses on the top of his head.
The robber entered the bank, approached the teller counter and presented a demand note that indicated he had a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank running south on Frankford Avenue and east on Orthodox Street. There were no injuries.
