Law Enforcement Seeking Public Assistance in Robbery of Mayfair Credit Union
The Philadelphia Division of the FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are requesting the public's assistance to identify and locate the individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Mayfair Federal Credit Union located at 2844 St. Vincent Street, Philadelphia, PA, on Friday, July 11, 2008 at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The subject is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 6'3" tall, medium build, with a red goatee. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a white T-shirt, long blue jean shorts and sneakers. His skin and/or clothes may be stained red from an exploding dye pack that was taken in the robbery. Surveillance photos of the subject are attached.
The subject entered the Credit Union and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. He fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and/or apprehension of this subject.
