Special Agent Bandit

Special Agent Bandit is a three-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd who works as an Explosives Detection Canine (EDC) in the Philadelphia Division. Bandit and his handler SABT Christopher Rigopoulos successfully completed the 10 week EDC course at the Philadelphia Police Department's Canine Training Unit in April 2000. Bandit has since been assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in Philadelphia. Bandit is a tremendous compliment to the Philadelphia Division's Special Agent Bomb Technician program having performed bomb sweeps in support of IT/DT cases, special events, and bomb call-outs.

FBI Philadelphia would like to extend its' gratitude to Police Officer Paul Bryant and the Philadelphia Police Department Canine Unit for providing the training for both Bandit and Bismarck.
