Bristol Township Man Charged with Intent to Sell 82 Grams of Crack Cocaine
PHILADELPHIA—United States Attorney Laurie Magid today announced the filing of an indictment charging Charles Tramel with possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). This offense arises from the defendant’s possession with intent to sell approximately 82 grams of crack cocaine in November 2008.

If convicted, the defendant faces a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment, a mandatory term of supervised release of 10 years and up to a lifetime period of supervised release, a $8 million fine, and a $100 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Bristol Township Police Department, and the Bucks County Violent Gang Task Force as a Task Force and is being prosecuted by AUSA Joel D. Goldstein.
