Sentenced to Seven Years for
Drug and Ammunition Charges
PHILADELPHIA
- Shirishah Robinson, 27, of Bristol Township, PA,
was sentenced today to seven years in prison for possession
with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent
to distribute crack cocaine, and possession of ammunition
by a convicted felon, announced Acting United States
Attorney Laurie Magid. Robinson pleaded guilty
to the charges on February 19, 2008 to knowingly possessing
with the intent to distribute approximately 9.93 grams
of a heroin, and 588 packets containing 14.19 grams
of cocaine base (“crack”) in November 2007. Because
she was previously convicted of a crime in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, Robinson was prohibited from possessing
a firearm or ammunition. Yet, on the same date
in November 2007, Robinson was in possession of 43
rounds of .380 caliber ammunition and 39 rounds of
.357 Sig ammunition. In addition to the prison
term, Robinson was ordered to complete seven years
of supervised release.
The case
was investigated by the FBI’s Bucks County Violent
Gang Task Force and the Bensalem Township Police Department.
It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney
Joseph Khan.
