NEWS RELEASE
Acting United States Attorney Laurie Magid today announced the filing of a three-count indictment1 charging Darryl Stanton, Lamar Calhoun, Bryant Higginbotham, and Ebony Lesesane with conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery, interference with interstate commerce by robbery, and carrying and using a firearm during a crime of violence. The indictment charges the defendants with robbing the Shop Rite grocery store, 7610 Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 6, 2008 of approximately $26,000. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department.
