NEWS RELEASE

Acting United States Attorney Laurie Magid today announced the filing of a three-count indictment¹ charging Darryl Stanton, Lamar Calhoun, Bryant Higginbotham, and Ebony Lesesane with conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery, interference with interstate commerce by robbery, and carrying and using a firearm during a crime of violence. The indictment charges the defendants with robbing the Shop Rite grocery store, 7610 Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 6, 2008 of approximately $26,000. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department.
